T-Diggedy wants to live in a world where emails are short, love letters are brave and every “thank you” note is scribbled by hand.

An optics junkie raised by laser cooling pioneer Hal Metcalf, he's performed research in laser forces, quantum information technology, and spinor condensate laboratories. Currently, he's helping to transform E4's magnon experiment into a new molecular splendor.

When he's not reverse-engineering the laboratory's ancient artifacts left by former students or building new laser systems, he's likely pursuing one of a panoply of interests, from swing dance and classical literature to spontaneous urban exploration and cartoons.
