Lorraine has been a Berkeley student since, I don't know, roughly 1894. She helped break ground on the Sather tower in 1914, worked on the original cyclotron with Lawrence, and was the mastermind behind "The Play" that handed Cal their glorious victory over Stanford in 1982. These days she's known simply as the "restaurant guru" for her encylopedic knowledge of all eateries within a 100 mile radius.
