Jonathan completed his undergraduate studies in Physics and Mathematics at Vanderbilt University in 2011, and joined the Stamper-Kurn research group in 2013. He started working on the cQED/optomechanics experiment, helping first with the coupled oscillator experiment. Now he is helping explore the use of the atomic spin degree of freedom in cavity optodynamics. Since fall 2013, he has been supported by the Department of Defense (DoD) through the National Defense Science & Engineering Graduate Fellowship (NDSEG) Program.
