"Fullerenes at the Intersection of Spectroscopy and Crystallography"

ABSTRACT:

 The characterization of fullerenes has alternated between

spectroscopically intensive periods and crystallographically intensive periods. A short history of fullerene characterization and some vignettes about the current efforts will be described.
